Next Wednesday 23 of May, the School will hold one of the sessions of the Open Talks SDGS, a group of conferences in different countries focused on the impact through design. The activity is one of the resulting events of the International Days for Deans and Design Experts, a joint initiative of 30 international schools that seeks to foster research through design by applying the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGS) to the design syllabus and the research through design.
Coproduced by SocialFare, the panel focuses on "Data & the City. Design, Policy and Resilience. The Barcelona Perspective" and will be moderated by Arianna Mazzeo, head of ELISAVA's MasterLab in Service Design Systems. We'll count with the contribution of international experts in design such as Francesca Bria (Barcelona's City Council), Ezio Manzini (Desis Network), Martin Dobuisson (Vizzuality), Miriam Pastor (Designit), Eugenio Tisselli (Polytechnique Zurich), Albert Fuster (ELISAVA's academic director) and Ramon Sanguesa (Head of the Data Transparency Lab).
