Graphic Design professor

Jordi Sàbat i Ortiz (Palafrugell, 1960) is a Graphic Designer by ELISAVA, School where he is a Graphic Design professor.

He is also a professor of this subject at Universitat Pompeu Fabra of Barcelona, and has taught at Escola d’Arts i Tècniques de la Moda of Barcelona and at Universitat Mediterrània de Turisme.

As an illustrator, he has worked for media like El Periódico, el diari Avui or La Vanguardia, and publishing houses like Grijalbo Mondadori, Edhasa, Anagrama or Destino. In this field, he has won, together with Lorenzo Silva, the Premi Destino Infantil-Apel·les Mestres in 2002.

On the other side, among his clients, we find SEAT, Barcelona Centre de Disseny, F.C. Barcelona, Fundació Josep Pla, Abertis, TMB, l’Ajuntament de Barcelona or Generalitat de Catalunya, and has made exhibitions in Girona, Barcelona, Madrid, Munich, Paris and New York.
