Since 2003 and uninterruptedly, the Postgraduate in Design of Work Space has provided to all former students with the knowledge and professional experience about interior design in the working environment. Moreover, since 2016 the course is also offered in English.

The main objective of the programme is to achieve the appropriate skills and look into key concepts related to interior design, such as environmental quality or comfort, taking into account the user's new behaviours and corporate objectives. The postgraduate aims to understand the use of space, paying particular attention on the design's communicative mark in order to transmit corporate values and respond to individual's needs.

Developed on a basis related to contemporary working spaces, the central project of this postgraduate relies on the thematic modules of the course - all of them related to practical exercises, which are described in the course's syllabus - as well as the experience provided by the visits to buildings, professional offices, and production equipment centres related to work space, where sector companies take centre stage and transmit their valuable background.

The course counts on a group of specialised teachers with a wide professional career, as well as the contribution of numerous prestigious international lecturers such as Sevil Peach, Roland Bouroullec, Iñaki Ábalos, Alejandro Zaera, Carlos Ferrater, Fermín Vázquez,  Nic Bewick, Francisco Vázquez, Daniel Freixes, Martí Guixé, El Último Grito, Carme Pinós, Jordi Badía, Santiago Miranda, Curro Claret, Gerard Sanmartí (La Granja Design), javier Mozas, and Raphael Gielgen (Vitra), among others.

Year after year, the individual and collective work of the students is the pivotal stimulus to keep growing and developing all the sections of the course, so in the next course we will confront new challenges in a permanent update exercise.

Our updated activities can be found in this website. You can also check our blog and the Facebook page www.facebook.Postgrado Diseño del Espacio de Trabajo_Máster Diseño Interior Elisava in order to find reference texts and other interesting documents.
